Senior Electrical Designer, Project Manager

Meet Peter, our Senior Electrical Designer at Jarvis Engineering. With a degree in Electrical and Telecommunication Technology from Technical College in the Netherlands, Peter brings a depth of expertise to our team. Prior to immigrating to Canada, he worked as an assistant manager in the Electrical Design and Maintenance Section of a plant engineering department. Since then, he has gained Canadian experience in electrical design and engineering in a wide variety of projects, including commercial, industrial, institutional, hospital, municipal, and defense projects located in Ontario, Quebec, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.

Since joining Jarvis Engineering in 2006, Peter has applied his design experience to a variety of projects, designing electrical systems for commercial retail, automobile dealerships, industrial, municipal, institutional, and health sectors projects. He has also been involved in several green initiative projects, including co-generation and energy-efficient technologies such as lighting control systems with occupancy control and daylight harvesting. Peter’s accomplishments include designing a grid-connected wood waste fueled turbine generator system and all associated controls and protection.

Peter’s contributions to the team at Jarvis Engineering are substantial, and his commitment to client satisfaction and sustainable design has earned him a reputation as a leader in the industry.
