Doug is a highly skilled and experienced Construction Administrator with over 20 years of experience as a Journeyman, quality control maintenance electrician, and construction administrator. As a vital member of our team, Doug is responsible for managing construction projects during the critical construction phase.
Doug began his career at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), where he completed his education in the Electrical Apprenticeship program. He earned his B.C. Certificate of Apprenticeship, B.C. Certificate of Qualification, and the Inter-provincial Standard Endorsement (Red Seal), which are considered some of the most prestigious credentials in the industry. He has also completed several BC Safety Authority electrical code upgrade courses and the Construction Safety Training System (CSTS-09) program, demonstrating his commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest industry practices and standards.
As a Construction Administrator, Doug is responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and materials comply with our design specifications. He conducts field reviews, monitors construction progress, and collaborates with Owners, Architects, Contractors, and engineers and designers to ensure that our projects are completed efficiently and successfully. His extensive experience and technical expertise make him an indispensable member of our team.
In addition to his role as a Construction Administrator, Doug also serves as an in-house electrician, providing support to our team when we need to install new light fixtures or plugs in our office. His colleagues and clients hold him in high regard and admire him for his eagerness to exceed his responsibilities.
